Senior Analytics Engineer

Join Current, a fast-growing financial technology company, as a Senior Analytics Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data warehouse, data models, and transformation pipelines. You will work closely with various teams, including banking, product, marketing, finance, credit, and risk, to support their analytics and modeling needs. You will also partner with data engineers to build data integrations and robust tools for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.

• Collaborer avec les analystes de données, les scientifiques des données et les ingénieurs pour soutenir leurs besoins en matière de modélisation et de reporting.
• Mettre en œuvre des modèles de données évolutifs et faciles à utiliser, hébergeant des ensembles de données complexes.
• Focus on data quality, integrity and security
• 6+ years of experience working as a data engineer or analytics engineer
• 3+ year of experience building meaningful metrics, reports and dashboards in BI/reporting tools like (Preferred: Looker)
• Experience working with services in cloud environment(s) like AWS or GCP
• Fluent in building data transformation pipelines, dimensional models and data marts. using one or more ETL or Transformation tools(Preferred: dbt)
• Implemented dimensional models and summarized data marts in the data warehouse; completed at least one full Data Warehouse development cycle
• Strong expertise in SQL and performance tuning
• Proficient in dimensional modeling concepts to power meaningful analytics
• Programing experience in Python, Scala or other language(s)
• Experience modeling data in dbt and Looker
• Experience working with Financial services companies
• Experience in D2C domains
• Experience working with one or more MPP databases(Prefered: Bigquery, etc)
