Senior Product Manager (Marketplace)
Traba · San Francisco, United States
About The Role
Join Traba, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the labor marketplace. As a Senior Product Manager, you'll own and evolve our staffing product, impacting supply, demand, fulfillment, customer outcomes, and marketplace health. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, design practical solutions, and drive product strategy. This role offers a competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
- Architect and steward the product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows, balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities, ensuring alignment with product requirements.
- Use data to uncover hidden patterns and answer critical marketplace and customer questions, translating operational complexity into scalable product systems.
- 5 - 7 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter
- Experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution
- Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
- Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments
- Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
- Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics
- Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
- A strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
- First-principles thinker. You spend equal time thinking about why, how, and what. You understand that strong product judgment often comes from deeply understanding systems and constraints rather than applying generic playbooks
- Deeply collaborative. You work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, customer teams, and leadership. You know how to align stakeholders and build trust across functions
- Marketplace operator. You have deep experience building products in two-sided marketplaces where supply and demand dynamics are real and operational complexity matters. You understand marketplace liquidity, matching systems, incentives, fulfillment, trust, and the tradeoffs required to maintain marketplace health at scale
- AI-native operator. You've changed how you work because of AI, not just added it to your stack. You prototype before writing a spec. You check in code to the production repo. You build internal agents to do research and analysis that used to take days. This shows up in how you operate, not how you describe yourself
- Customer-obsessed. Product judgment is downstream of customer truth, and you act like it. You spend time on-site with the people using your product, on both sides of the marketplace. When the team debates a decision, you're the one who's already talked to three customers and two workers about it
- Enterprise B2B muscle. You have built products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and operational rollout challenges. You are comfortable navigating environments with regional operators, warehouse leadership, procurement processes, and layered customer organizations
- Operations systems builder. You have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You understand workflows deeply and know how to create leverage through systems that help teams operate more efficiently
- Builder mentality. Inventive and scrappy problem solver. You move quickly, embrace ambiguity, and know how to create meaningful outcomes without relying on giant teams or excessive process
