Contract Attorney (Paid Legal Services)

Join Rocket Lawyer as a Contract Attorney, a remote, independent contractor position where you will provide legal services to Rocket Lawyer members in your licensed jurisdiction(s). You will have the flexibility to choose the legal services you want to accept and will be supported by Rocket Lawyer's administrative team. This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy client interaction, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.

• Provide legal services to Rocket Lawyer members, including consultations, document review, drafting, and contract-related work.
• Answer legal questions and provide legal information to customers through the Ask a Legal Pro service.
• Collaborate with customers virtually and maintain a customer-first mentality to ensure satisfaction and success.
• This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy client interaction, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while still being supported by a team
• At least 1 year of practical experience in advising individuals and businesses in your area of expertise. We welcome applicants with various levels of experience
• A customer-first mentality and a dedication towards going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and success
• Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer consultations via phone and/or video conference
• Comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn and use our tools to enhance the customer experience
• Maintain lawyers’ professional liability insurance in accordance with the Terms of Service
• An active license in at least 1 US state where you are in good standing with your local state bar with no previous public disciplinary action
