About The Role

Join Ramp, a fast-growing fintech company, as a Business Development representative in our London office. In this high-impact role, you will focus on building Ramp's presence in the European market, hunting for sales opportunities, and converting interest into a high-quality pipeline. You will be the initial point of contact for prospecting and qualifying leads, and help design qualification frameworks that will scale with the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, has a natural inclination for selling, and is eager to learn and embrace challenges.

  • As a member of the Business Development team, your main missions will include building Ramp's presence in the European market, hunting for sales opportunities, and qualifying leads. You will also be responsible for conducting consultative discovery to understand prospect pain points and priorities, and partnering closely with Account Executives to support deal expansion. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records in Salesforce and continuously refine your sales techniques based on performance data.
  • AI fluency as a daily habit. Ramp is a builder culture: if you don't instinctively reach for AI before doing things manually, this role will be a hard adjustment

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Right to work in the UK is required
  • Fluency in additional European languages
  • Experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, VC, IB/PE, or other analytically intensive environments
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, business development, or inside sales role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Prior CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
  • Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes or workflows in a prior role
