Software Engineer (Stablecoins)

Join Ramp, a leading fintech company, as a Software Engineer focused on stablecoin-based payment and treasury systems. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling Ramp's stablecoin infrastructure, partnering with external providers and internal stakeholders, and solving complex fintech challenges. You will collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial infrastructure, experience with stablecoin technologies, and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.

• Act as both a technical owner and multiplier for core stablecoin services, ensuring secure and reliable integrations with external partners.
• Build and scale Ramp’s stablecoin-based payment and treasury infrastructure, partnering with external providers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers across Ramp to integrate stablecoin capabilities into core products, solving Ramp’s toughest fintech challenges with new technologies.

• Experience working on security-sensitive systems, with interest in key management, wallet security, or secure transaction flows
• Minimum 4+ years of experience shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems preferred
• Proven experience with stablecoin technologies, blockchain-based payment rails, and/or wallet infrastructure
• Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language (Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• Strong production experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent)
• Experience building or operating payments, money movement, treasury, stablecoin, or crypto infrastructure in production environments
• Intuition for on-chain UX and settlement mechanics, including wallet-based transaction signing, confirmation/finality, and chain-level tradeoffs like fees and latency
• Experience integrating with external financial service providers and APIs at scale
• Direct experience building on-chain wallets or with integrating a crypto onramp / offramp APIs for custody and remittance flows
• Familiarity with cross-border settlement, FX, or treasury management systems
• Background in highly regulated fintech environments (e.g., payments, banking, or government-compliant infrastructure)
