• Identifying high-leverage problems in the software development lifecycle and shipping solutions to improve development workflows.
• Building systems that enable engineers and AI agents to work together effectively in complex codebases, including clear abstractions and reliable workflows.
• Automating repetitive or error-prone engineering workflows to help engineers and AI agents complete them faster and more consistently.
• You think in systems across code, infrastructure, workflows, reliability, performance, and people
• You understand that speed and quality go hand in hand: the best platforms make safe, high-quality engineering feel faster, not slower
• You have built and led improvements to systems that make other engineers more effective, including developer tooling, CI/CD, test infrastructure, service frameworks, or large-scale codebase architecture
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and ownership. You can identify problems, align stakeholders, make tradeoffs, ship useful solutions, and iterate. You dive into whatever part of the tech stack or process is necessary to solve problems
