Software Engineer (Data Platform)

Join Ramp, a fast-growing fintech company, as a Software Engineer focused on building the Data Platform. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to develop infrastructure and tools that support the data science development lifecycle. You will build and integrate components of Ramp's Analytics Platform and Machine Learning Platform, improve the agility and data experience of applied scientists and engineers, and collaborate on building and productionizing machine learning applications. • Collaborate with applied scientists, AI engineers, and other stakeholders to build and integrate components of Ramp's Analytics Platform and Machine Learning Platform.
• Build tools that improve the agility and data experience of Ramp's Applied Scientists, AI Engineers, and Risk Engineers.
• Build reliable, scalable, maintainable, and cost-efficient systems across the stack, focusing on building platforms that support the data science development lifecycle.
• Experience building streaming systems
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar databases
• Experience building infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Previous experience building a feature store
• Expertise with AWS
• Experience with workflow orchestrators like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
• Strong Python programming skills
• Intuition around analytics and machine learning, and empathy for data science workflows
• Experience with Terraform and Datadog
• Previous experience building online machine learning systems
