About The Role

Join Ramp, a leading engineering company on a mission to build the best engineering team. As a Staff Software Engineer (iOS), you will design, lead, build, and launch new products on Ramp's iOS App. You will drive the core product engineering roadmap, make important prioritization and scoping decisions, and work closely with Product and Design to identify key features for success. You will also mentor team members, set engineering standards, and own quality. This position offers comprehensive benefits, unlimited PTO, and relocation support to NYC.

Design, lead, build and launch new products on Ramp’s iOS App, driving the core product engineering roadmap.
Code review, set engineering standards, mentor, and own quality, ensuring high standards in the codebase.
Work with Product and Design to plan and identify key features to make the app successful, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Experience with backend technologies (Python, Flask, SQL, OpenAPI, etc..)
Experience with our mobile stack: SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, The Composable Architecture, Bazel, widgets, app extensions
Experience with web apps (React, JS, etc.)
Experience managing apps with App Store Connect

Experience contributing at least one mobile app and/or several features that reached a large number of users

Drive to learn new technologies and adapt to different situations
Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps
Knowledge of iOS UI components and the iOS Developer Platform
Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development
A minimum of 2 years of technical leadership experience leading and/or managing teams
Proficiency in Swift for iOS development
