Technical Accounting Manager

Join Ramp, a fast-growing fintech company, as a Technical Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and updating accounting policies, researching and documenting significant transactions, and ensuring accurate technical accounting reviews. You will also assist in preparing financial statements, support the month-end close process, and lead technical accounting discussions with auditors and internal stakeholders. • Rediger et og opdatere regnskabspolitikker, vedtagelse af US GAAP-regnskabsstandarder, forskning og dokumentation af væsentlige og ikke-rutinemæssige transaktioner.
• Assistere med at forberede og gennemgå finansielle rapporter for forskellige regulerede enheder, og støtte regnskabsteamet med månedlig afslutningsproces.
• Drive udviklingen og implementeringen af tekniske regnskabspolitikker og rapportering for alle produkter og tjenester, der tilbydes af Ramp.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify, analyze, and resolve issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain accounting policies and procedures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word)
• Strong technical accounting background and a proven ability to interpret and apply accounting standards in complex situations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated; capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Active CPA license (required)
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in external audit, accounting, and/or advisory at a Big 4 firm (Manager level or above). Ideally added in-house experience at a high-growth private or public company in Fintech or Tech space
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
• Experience building and managing a high-performing team
• Prior experience working with Workiva
• Prior experience working with Netsuite
