As a Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in a major transformation program within various sectors, including banking, insurance, energy, transport, and public services. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly translated into functional solutions. This is a permanent position based in the Brussels Metropolitan Area with a hybrid work model.

• Gather and analyze business needs from various stakeholders, translating requirements into detailed functional specifications and structured documentation.
• Model business processes and system interactions using UML methodology, contributing to the design, documentation, and maintenance of API interfaces.
• Support development teams throughout the implementation phase, coordinating functional testing activities and organizing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

👤 **Your profile**

• **Minimum 3 years of experience** in a role such as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Developer, or Integration Consultant, ideally within banking and/or insurance and/or Utilities environments
• Excellent analytical and structuring abilities with strong documentation skills
• Solid experience with **UML modelling tools** (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Lucidchart, or similar)
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with **API concepts (RESTful/SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman)**
• Good knowledge of **SQL**, **Excel**, and at least one scripting language (e.g., **Python**)
• Familiarity with enterprise environments and data-driven systems
• Understanding of application lifecycle management practices
• Exposure to **Cloud technologies (Azure)** and containerization platforms such as **Kubernetes** is a plus
• Fluent in English and native in French and/or Dutch
