About The Role
Join our team as an Embedded Software Test Engineer, where you will be responsible for validating our complex radar payload. You will bridge the gap between hardware and software, writing code to prove our system works. Your role will involve developing specialized firmware, building high-level Python automation, and working in a hands-on lab environment. You will collaborate with FPGA and RF engineers, analyze test data, and maintain continuous integration pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, C/C++, and experience with lab equipment and debugging hardware.
- Assumer la responsabilité de la validation des systèmes radar complexes, en écrivant le code nécessaire pour prouver leur bon fonctionnement.
- Développer des firmwares spécialisés pour tester les interfaces matérielles, injecter des motifs de test dans les FPGA et contrôler les transceivers RF.
- Collaborer avec les ingénieurs FPGA et RF pour définir les exigences de test et résoudre les problèmes complexes d'intégration matériel-logiciel.
- Expertise in Python for test automation, data analysis, and instrument control (e.g., PyVISA, NumPy, Pandas)
- Familiarity with standard communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, and PCIe
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets (writing test firmware, drivers, or diagnostic tools)
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers) and debugging hardware down to the component level
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering, embedded software development, or hardware validation
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
- Experience with radar systems, phased array antennas, or satellite communications
- Experience with Xilinx Zynq/MPSoC platforms and Petalinux/Yocto build systems
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) applied to hardware testing
- Background in developing automated drivers for test equipment (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu)
