Engineering Manager (Nova)

Join Iterable as an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building AI-powered experiences and integrating them into the core application. You will guide a group of engineers working on conversational workflows, orchestration layers, and AI-enabled product surfaces. This role requires strong technical judgment, people leadership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving product area. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data Science leadership to translate AI capabilities into scalable, user-facing experiences.

• Lead and support a team of engineers in building agentic and AI-enabled product experiences, ensuring high-quality feature delivery.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data Science leadership to translate AI capabilities into scalable, user-facing experiences.

• Experience leading teams that integrate AI or ML-powered capabilities into production systems
• Strong technical judgment across system design, APIs, distributed systems, and developer workflows
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, make pragmatic trade-offs, and drive execution across multiple initiatives
• Have at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience
• Have at least 3 years of experience managing and growing software engineering teams
• Comfort operating at the intersection of product, platform, and data science teams
• Experience working with modern backend and frontend stacks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical work with business and product goals
• Strong background in application or platform engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Experience leading teams building agentic or LLM-powered product experiences
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as Mastra or similar orchestration tools
• Prior work on decisioning engines, rules engines, or real-time personalization systems
• Experience collaborating closely with Data Science and ML teams on production integrations
• Background in marketing technology or customer engagement platforms
• Experience scaling teams and systems in a remote-first environment
