Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager

Join Roblox as a Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager, where you'll lead technical efforts and manage a team of experienced engineers to develop innovative AI solutions for multimodal content safety. • Lead technical efforts and manage a team of experienced engineers to develop innovative AI solutions for multimodal content safety.
• Oversee machine learning systems, constructing multimodal model architectures, improving data quality, training pipelines, and model performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Policy, Design, and Operations partners to define and prioritize the machine learning roadmap for multimodal safety initiatives.
• Proven track record of designing, developing, and launching ML models from scratch into production
• Independent and self-directed: capable of charting a course with minimal guidance, and comfortable making decisions in uncertain situations
• An owner: you take responsibility for projects and outcomes end-to-end, and instill the same accountability in your team

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with vision language models or other foundation model technologies
