Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Reliability)

Join Roblox as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the Reliability team. You will set the direction for leveraging machine learning to improve platform reliability, own the architectural and execution roadmap, and collaborate with other teams. Your responsibilities will include improving anomaly detection, developing data pipelines, building a reasoning layer for root cause analysis, and creating time-series models for capacity prediction. You should have a strong understanding of distributed systems, be comfortable with ambiguity, and have a creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

• As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer within the Reliability team at Roblox, you will be responsible for setting the direction for leveraging machine learning systems to improve platform reliability, owning the architectural and execution roadmap for proactive issue detection, and collaborating with other teams to define best practices and software.

• An Executive Communicator: Highly effective at communicating complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and non-technical executive leadership

• Good distributed systems fundamentals and understanding of large scale high throughput systems
