Senior Software Engineer (Kubernetes Networking)

Join Roblox as a Senior Software Engineer in the Kubernetes Networking team. You will be responsible for building and optimizing the networking infrastructure for our high-performance machine learning workloads. This role requires expertise in Kubernetes networking, experience in building large-scale systems, and a passion for mentoring and growing engineers.

• Bootstrap the Kubernetes networking domain within Roblox and contribute to the technical strategy for building large-scale infrastructure systems.
• Work with foundational AI and infrastructure teams to deliver Roblox’s next generation infrastructure, keeping up-to-date with the latest ML and infrastructure trends.
• Write and review high-quality design and code, mentor and grow engineers on the team, and ensure the implementation of best practices.
• A strong problem solver with on-call experiences for critical infrastructure systems
• An expert in Kubernetes networking
• An excellent communicator who works well within and across teams
• An experienced engineer building large-scale systems that influence the whole company with 5+ years of professional experience
• Familiar with Cilium and eBPF
