Senior Software Engineer (UGC Validation)

Join Roblox as a Senior Software Engineer focused on UGC Validation. In this role, you will scale and evolve automated systems to validate 3D assets uploaded to the Roblox marketplace. Your primary responsibility will be to develop engineering solutions that enforce marketplace policies. You will work across the avatar stack, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and artists to translate complex marketplace policy requirements into clean, scalable code updates. A strong background in programming, geometric processing, and 3D math is required.

• Maintenir, optimiser et étendre les systèmes d'ingénierie existants pour analyser la géométrie 3D, la conformité au schéma d'avatar, les structures de rigging et les métadonnées des actifs.
• Développer et affiner des métriques quantitatives et programmatiques pour évaluer les actifs UGC entrants par rapport aux normes de qualité de la plateforme et aux règles de sécurité.

• Education: A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or relevant work experience
• Software Engineering Excellence: Strong programming skills in c++, Luau, Python (or similar production languages) with a proven track record in system optimization, data pipelining, and complex software design
• Geometric Processing Expertise: Strong experience manipulating and analyzing 3D data, including meshes, vertices, and topology
• Expert 3D Math Foundation: Exceptional spatial reasoning and a deep mastery of 3D math, specifically linear algebra tailored for game engines and 3D environments
• Foundational knowledge of rendering pipelines
