People Operations Specialist (Contract)

Join Docker as a People Operations Specialist on a contract basis for 4-6 months. In this role, you will support assigned client groups while a team member is on leave and contribute to a critical HRIS data migration. You will serve as the primary operational HR contact for assigned client groups, manage employee inquiries, run employee lifecycle processes, maintain and update HRIS data, support the rollout of People programs, and conduct regular audits. You will also assist with auditing and cleaning employee data in preparation for migration, identifying and flagging data discrepancies, and completing data entry, validation, and QA tasks.

• Serve as the primary operational HR contact for assigned client groups, managing employee inquiries and running employee lifecycle processes end-to-end.
• Maintain and update HRIS data for assigned client groups, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance across employee records.
• Support the rollout of People programs for assigned groups, preparing employee-facing documentation and contributing to a critical HRIS data migration.
• 2–3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working for technology companies in a fully remote, global environment
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining accurate employee records
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (preferably HiBob and/or BambooHR) — comfortable with data entry, report building, and system navigation
• Experience working cross-functionally with teams like IT, Finance, and Payroll
• Clear, professional communication skills — both written and verbal
• Comfort working with sensitive and confidential employee data
