About The Role

Join Deutsche Bank as a Data Analyst in the Risk, Finance, and Treasury Divisional Data Office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing change-the-bank activities to enhance data capabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies. You will collaborate with various groups, gain a thorough understanding of data's role in the business, and shape the data strategy. Key responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, implementing a Data Quality Control Framework, and supporting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience in banking, strong data analysis and modeling skills, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Management of change-the-bank activities to uplift data capabilities to meet regulatory and internal policies.
  • Collaboration with various groups to originate and consume data, including business lines and infrastructure functions.
  • Driving implementation of Data Quality Control Framework to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data.
  • Data analysis & modelling skill: ability to interrogate large sets of data to identify and document critical attributes used in the production of key metrics and reports from final point of calculation / reporting to originating applications (i.e. tracing lineage and recording transformations performed upon data via flows and processes
  • Demonstrable experience in translating Core Data Standards into practical implementation
  • Ideally experienced in the usage of Industry standard data management tools such as Collibra and Solidatus, along with Python / SQL coding skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to explain complex problem in a clear and structured way
  • 10+ years of experience in Banking, ideally data-management related roles
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to deliver to tight deadlines
