About The Role

Join the Distressed Products Group within the Global Financing & Credit Trading business unit at Deutsche Bank. As a Distressed Debt Documentation and Trade Associate, you will work closely with Traders, Desk Analysts, and Sourcers to facilitate distressed debt transactions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing complex credit agreements, preparing transaction documents, liaising with clients and transfer agents, and producing routine reporting packages. You will also assist with Know-Your-Client and account opening requirements, and support strategic initiatives. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Review, understand, and comprehend complex salability language in credit agreements and restructuring documentation relating to transfer of debt from seller to buyer.
  • Prepare and manage a variety of distressed debt transaction documents including, but not limited to, claim assignment agreements, LSTA standard documentation, stock purchase agreements, restructuring support agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Liaise with high profile clients and transfer agents to facilitate closing in a timely manner; work directly with the counterparty and funding teams.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may often shift
  • Previous experience at a major corporation
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple tasks at once, identify business issues, and communicate decisions effectively and clearly
