Full Stack Lead Engineer (Credit Flow Trading Technology, Vice President)

Join Deutsche Bank as a Full Stack Lead Engineer, where you will support the technology platform for the US Credit Flow Trading business. You will lead innovation, drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, and serve as a senior technical voice within Credit Technology. Your responsibilities will include developing Trade Capture tooling for CDS products, defining technical best practices, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless connectivity between trading applications and core strategic platforms.

• Lead the development of Trade Capture tooling for CDS products and drive the adoption of modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure technology solutions align with project objectives, timelines, and business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership on platform design, architecture, and implementation strategy to support front office trading workflows.
• Understanding of Derivative products, especially Credit and Interest Rate derivatives including product lifecycle
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized microservices architectures, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong experience developing modern front-end applications using React, including state management and component design
• Extensive hands-on experience with Java and Python for building scalable, high‑performance backend services
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive complex technical initiatives end-to-end
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams
• Experience working in distributed systems and high-availability environments
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments
