Investment Banking Associate (Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa)

Join Deutsche Bank's Investment Banking and Capital Markets (IBCM) division as an Associate in the CEEMEA Investment Banking team. You will play a key role in the origination and execution of advisory and capital markets transactions, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. Your responsibilities will include coordinating transaction processes, preparing financial models and valuation analyses, developing client presentations, conducting market research, and supporting senior bankers in client coverage initiatives and business development opportunities.

• Supporting the origination and execution of M&A, ECM, DCM and other strategic advisory transactions across Central and Eastern Europe and the broader CEEMEA region.
• Coordinating transaction processes and workstreams across clients, product teams, legal advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Preparing and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, merger models and transaction-related materials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills
• Strong execution experience and understanding of transaction processes across advisory and capital markets products
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A advisory, Capital Markets or a related field
• Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities
