About The Role

Join our team as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for the Trade Entitlements System. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver tools and processes to enhance quality, scalability, and resiliency. You will champion SRE principles, contribute to the system's codebase, and work in Agile delivery teams. Expert knowledge of the SRE stack, extensive experience as a Java engineer, and familiarity with Kotlin are required.

  • Design, develop, and deliver tools and processes to improve the quality, scalability, and resiliency of the Trade Entitlements System.
  • Champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
  • Contribute to the system’s codebase (Java) to facilitate SRE requirements and ensure high-quality delivery of projects.

  • Expert knowledge of SRE stack including Prometheus and Grafana
  • Proven to be able to operate autonomously, steer difficult decisions with technology stakeholders and deliver projects to a high degree of quality and longevity
  • Extensive and solid experiene as Java engineer with high throughput web-based systems (Spring preferred)
  • Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, contributing to backlog refinement, estimation, sprint delivery, and continuous improvement of trading capabilities
  • Experience of Kotlin preferred
