About The Role

Join Deutsche Bank's Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) as a Quantitative Developer. In this role, you will drive the development of core models and controls to identify fraud, manage stakeholders, and ensure high-quality code. You will also integrate new data source systems into existing data pipelines and model ecosystems, develop platform reporting statistics, and engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs. A strong background in data integration, data science, and programming (especially in Python) is required.

  • Drive the development of core models and controls to help identify fraud, taking ownership of problem sets and managing stakeholders.
  • Implement models from prototype to production, ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and documentation best practices.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand needs and requirements, providing guidance on usage and translating needs into technical proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience with data integration, Extract, Transform Load(ETL)/Extract Load Transform (ELT) processes, and data quality assurance, especially involving new data source systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and partner with various teams, and to be able to explain complex concepts effectively
  • Relevant experience conducting data science or model development in a business setting
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
  • Understanding financial markets, risk (for example, Know Your Client (KYC), anomaly detection/Machine Learning, project management
  • Excellent programming skills, predominantly across the Python/Anaconda suite (Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy)
