Electrical Design Engineer

Join Matic, a mission-driven company focused on automating mundane tasks in the home. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work on the end-to-end design and manufacturing of critical PCBAs, collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers, and ensure proper production of PCBAs and subassemblies. You should have 2-4 years of professional electrical design experience, experience with common digital protocols, and a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Participer à la conception et à la fabrication de PCB critiques, y compris la sélection des composants, la capture de schémas, le prototypage et le débogage.

• Experience with verifying and validating functional requirements of the electrical systems
• Previous ECAD experience with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent
• 2-4 years of professional electrical design experience on a product (preferably a consumer product) that has shipped in high volume
• Experience with common digital protocols including I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI
• Comfort with fast-paced, startup atmosphere -- you don’t shy away from the hard work
• Supply chain management and PCBA contract manufacturing experience
• Exposure to regulatory certification processes
• High level of maturity, ownership, and pride in your work
• Experience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout
• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
