About The Role

Join Motorola Solutions, a leading global provider of public safety and enterprise security solutions. As an Embedded QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of our body-worn camera software projects. You will analyze, design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, perform system integration testing, and assist in resolving customer field issues. This is a full-time position based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with flexible work models and a range of benefits.

Analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test scripts and frameworks for the organization’s products.
Performing system integration testing of software and hardware to maintain throughput and ensure overall program consistency.
Assisting in resolving customer field issues on live production systems, troubleshooting client/server product issues, and maintaining high-availability standards.
At least 3+ yrs quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
Experience using Hardware devices is a bonus
Minimum 2+ yrs experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills or software development
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Strategic thinker
Well- organised
