Product Manager (Video Infrastructure)

Join Motorola Solutions as a Product Manager in the Video Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and maintaining an enterprise portfolio that includes appliances, video servers, and storage solutions. You will drive the strategic unification of our server and appliance platforms, creating a scalable infrastructure that powers both our core Physical Security products and our expanding Public Safety initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, supply chain, sales, and marketing to drive the growth strategy for Motorola Solutions’ appliances portfolio.

• Expanding and maintaining an enterprise portfolio that includes appliances, video servers, and storage solutions.
• Driving the strategic unification of server and appliance platforms, creating a scalable infrastructure for core Physical Security products and Public Safety initiatives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, supply chain, sales, and marketing to drive the growth strategy for Motorola Solutions’ appliances portfolio.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to anticipate market trends, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop well-thought-out strategies
• Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to sustain interactions with external vendors and customers, as well as internal engineering and sales organizations
• Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10% to 20% of the time)
• Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex roadmaps and proposals to both technical and non-technical management
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering or Computer Science preferred); an MBA is considered an asset
• Prior experience leading products that integrate embedded software with hardware, with a deep understanding of the unique lifecycle and constraints of firmware-driven appliances
• Familiarity with enterprise compute and storage technology, particularly regarding video or hybrid on-premises and cloud software solutions
• Prior experience in the physical security or public safety market
• Bachelors Degree
• 4+ years of product management or engineering experience
• 4+ years of product management experience delivering complex solutions in high-tech environments
