Research and Development Test Engineer

As a Research and Development Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our R&D team, responsible for developing testing infrastructure and conducting comprehensive testing of our MANET radios and other wireless products. You will work closely with the R&D and Engineering teams, conduct lab and field testing, and assist in troubleshooting and qualification of new designs. • Implement and maintain testing infrastructure for comprehensive testing of wireless products.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to validate and troubleshoot new designs.
• Conduct lab and field testing to qualify system performance in practical environments.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience, specifically in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and python; OR a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience including embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, and python with an advanced degree
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts
• Proven experience with lab instruments such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
• Demonstrated experience in wireless/networking or an electronics manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test
• Proven experience in programming using C/C++, Python, or MATLAB
• Exposure to networked testing systems
• Experience in testing embedded radio communication systems
• General understanding of working in both Windows and Linux operations
