Senior Manager of Presale Engineering (Ecosystem)

• Lead the Presales Engineering team in pursuing opportunities within the State and Local Government markets, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions.
• Manage the technical aspects of sales support engagements, including RFPs, proposal requests, and Proof of Concept trials, while coordinating with various functional teams.
• Hire, develop, and coach a team of Presales Engineers, preparing them for successful careers within Motorola Solutions.
• Bachelors Degree with 4+ Years of Experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Integration, Solutions Architecture, Public Safety, Military
• Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets an asset
• A positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be creative, resourceful and deliver results
• General knowledge of IP networking architecture, protocols and security desirable
• Knowledge of Motorola’s ecosystem portfolio of products, services or aptitude to learn
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and nontechnical audiences
• Strong general knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures - both public and private (e.g. APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G) highly desirable
