About The Role
Join Silvus Technologies as a Senior RF Design Engineer, where you will play a key role in the design and development of the RF subsystem for our StreamCaster MANET product line. This position is based in our West Los Angeles headquarters and offers a range of benefits, including flexible work models, paid time off, health care benefits, and retirement benefits. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience, and a strong knowledge of RF board layout and fabrication.
- Participate in all aspects of the design process to develop the RF subsystem for Silvus’ StreamCaster MANET product line.
- Design and implement antenna to baseband RF subsystem, including discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
- Conduct RF performance characterization, tuning, troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with emission and immunity regulations.
- Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues
- Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging
- Experience using RF simulation tools (i.e. AWR Microwave Office, Altium)
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
- All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test
- Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
