Senior RF Design Engineer

Join Silvus Technologies as a Senior RF Design Engineer, where you will play a key role in the design and development of the RF subsystem for our StreamCaster MANET product line. Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience, and a strong knowledge of RF board layout and fabrication.

• Participate in all aspects of the design process to develop the RF subsystem for Silvus’ StreamCaster MANET product line.
• Design and implement antenna to baseband RF subsystem, including discrete circuitry or highly integrated RFICs.
• Conduct RF performance characterization, tuning, troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with emission and immunity regulations.
• Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with solving EMI, harmonics, spurious, and stability issues
• Good working knowledge of RF board layout, fabrication, and packaging
• Experience using RF simulation tools (i.e. AWR Microwave Office, Altium)
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test
• Minimum 5 years of multi-GHz RF hardware development experience
• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
