Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

• Lead the architectural evolution and frontend execution for core Search features across a React, TypeScript, and Node web stack.
• Partner closely with product, design, and backend engineering peers to translate user research and design mocks into performant user experiences.
• Champion frontend engineering standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and elevate technical execution across the Search engineering team.
• Fullstack working context with Node.js web services and modern API design concepts like REST, GraphQL, or gRPC
• Resourceful problem-solving skills in ambiguous technical environments with a track record of continuous learning
• Familiarity with AWS managed services or frontend performance optimization for high-traffic applications is a plus
• Practical understanding of backend microservice interaction patterns and relational databases like PostgreSQL to collaborate effectively with backend peers
• Experience building map-based data visualizations using mapping libraries such as Mapbox or the Google Maps API
• Mastery of modern frontend web technologies, application design patterns, and user interface development using React and TypeScript
