About The Role
Join our Finance team as a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting. In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing all external financial reports with the SEC, researching and documenting complex technical accounting matters, and monitoring and implementing new accounting standards. You will also support the Company's M&A activity and partner closely with various teams, including Controllership, Accounting, Legal, Investor Relations, and Internal Audit. The ideal candidate will have strong US GAAP acumen, excellent organization and problem-solving skills, and direct experience with SEC reporting.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP and disclosure requirements.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses for periodic and ad hoc reporting, including assessing and challenging the appropriateness of disclosures.
- Monitor developments in accounting and reporting standards from the SEC, FASB, and PCAOB; evaluating the impact and preparing related technical accounting documentation.
- Strong US GAAP acumen and understanding of financial reporting (SEC, 10-K, 10-Q)
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and bring projects to completion
- Candidate must have direct experience with SEC reporting (Regulation S-X and S-K) and preparation of financial statements and footnotes of public companies
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Ability to research and interpret accounting guidance and draft accounting memos to support conclusions
- Experience with equity, stock-based compensation, and EPS is a plus
- Strong work ethic with good judgment, initiative, and excellent attention to detail
- CPA required
- The ability to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure and focus under pressure and deadline
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field
- 5-7 years’ experience in a Big 4 accounting firm with recent experience on a publicly traded client and/or external reporting/accounting function at a large publicly traded company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
