Senior Software Engineer (Growth)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and improve features that drive user adoption and engagement.
• Take a leadership role in setting direction for the Growth engineering team and the product experience.
• Fleetio is looking for a self-driven and product-minded Senior Software Engineer to join our Growth Engineering team
• This role would be ideal for someone who has a good eye for UX, an interest in digging into data, and enjoys working with a cross-functional team
• The ideal candidate has a passion for and experience collaborating with others, writing clean code, and shipping experiments that drive adoption and engagement
• You have an eye for detail, a focus on quality, and a desire to craft seamless user experiences
• Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others is key to your success
• You have extensive experience planning, designing, and building features that increase trial user engagement with cross-functional partners such as Product Managers, Designers, and Quality Engineers
• You are proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
• Prior experience with unit testing frameworks
• Excellent communication skills (particularly written)
• 2+ years experience with ReactJS, Typescript
• Previous experience working on a Growth engineering team
• 5+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
