Operations Associate

• Investigate and resolve disputes for card and ACH transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end chargeback lifecycle, leveraging knowledge of Mastercard network rules to minimize financial loss.
• Analyze suspicious account activity and high-risk transactional patterns to identify and mitigate fraudulent activity.
• A track record of meeting strict regulatory deadlines and network timeframes without sacrificing quality or accuracy
• Strong understanding of risk and controls, paired with the ability to analyze complex transaction histories, behavioral patterns, and customer demographics to detect anomalous or fraudulent activity
• Proven experience resolving transaction disputes and conducting Chargeback lifecycle management according to Reg E, MasterCard and debit network rules
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent grammar, capable of writing objective, audit-ready investigative summaries while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• 3-5 years’ experience in mobile deposit capture processing, debit card and ACH dispute investigations and resolutions
• The ability to look at incomplete or conflicting information and synthesize it into clear, logical, and accurate determinations. Experience with AI tools recommended
• A proactive team player who actively contributes to a culture of risk management, knowledge sharing, and process improvement
• Expertise with consumer payment rules and regulations, including Reg E, Nacha, card and network rules
