AML Analyst (Transaction Monitoring)

Join Swan, a fast-paced fintech company, as an AML Analyst in the Transaction Monitoring Team. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring clients' transactional activities to protect the company against fraudulent activities, money laundering risks, financial risks, and reputation risks. You will also handle various internal and external requests requiring a thorough analysis of account activity. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in AML or Compliance, a solid understanding of French law and regulatory frameworks, and strong analytical skills.

• Proactively monitor clients' transactional activities to protect the company against fraudulent activities, money laundering risks, financial risks, and reputation risks.
• Manage communication with end-clients and partners when suspicious activity is detected to gather supporting documentation and analyze account activity.
• Participate in detecting trends and report them to the 2nd line to improve scoring rules, while handling external legal requests sent by authorities.
• You have 3+ years of experience in AML or Compliance, ideally specific to transaction monitoring in a fintech, Payment Provider, consulting firm, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• You have a solid understanding of French law and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail, and the ability to adhere to strict processes.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Curious mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in an evolving environment.
• You have excellent working abilities in English.
• Ideally, you have experience using modern tools such as Forest (CRM), Zendesk (ticketing system), and other AML/Transaction monitoring-related tools.
