Senior Fullstack Engineer (PatientKeeper)

Join our team as a Senior Fullstack Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and supporting innovative healthcare AI applications. You'll work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create scalable and reliable systems that improve patient care. Your expertise in Java, React, cloud-based applications, and the healthcare domain will be essential in driving impactful change and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our architecture.

• Design and develop scalable healthcare AI applications using Java and React, focusing on cloud application best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into effective solutions, and actively participate in the design and development of new features.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, contribute to the development of cutting-edge features leveraging AI and machine learning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
• Proven experience in developing and deploying cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong experience with relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and document databases, including MongoDB and derivatives
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Deep expertise in Java programming, including experience designing and implementing highly optimized and scalable architectures
• Professional software development experience with a focus on full-stack development, including backend APIs, frontend UI, system integrations, and user authentication
• Experience with building enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Spring Boot, React, UX design frameworks, and relational and document databases
• Experience in the healthcare domain, including HL7 and FHIR
• Experience with AI/ML concepts and frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Working knowledge of containers (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
