Senior Software Engineer (Revenue Cycle Management Billing)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in scaling and maintaining our practice management platform, Insights. You will design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions, improve system reliability and observability, and mentor and guide engineers. • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on building scalable full-stack applications
• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimizations and ability to diagnose bottlenecks in React applications
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a focus on observability (monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices)
• Experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects, balancing trade-offs, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of modern front-end engineering—React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design
• Proficiency in full-stack development with expertise in JavaScript (React/Vue), Python, and PostgreSQL
• Experience scaling front-end applications in a fast-growing, high-traffic environment
• Experience working with complex backend systems, including designing APIs and optimizing database performance
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization
• Background in data visualization and building interactive dashboards for analytics-heavy applications
• Strong architectural skills with experience designing and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and performant web applications
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to leadership and cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with modern API design patterns (GraphQL, REST, gRPC) and best practices in backend-for-frontend (BFF) architectures
• Experience with developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong engineering blog presence
• A passion for improving healthcare and healthcare operations in America
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (finance, insurance, government) with a focus on security and compliance
