Director of Finance

Join our growing company as the Director of Finance, where you will lead finance strategy and operations, manage financial planning and budgeting, oversee fundraising, and collaborate with department heads. You will report directly to the COO and play a central role in creating a sustainable business. The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, and analytical, with a strong background in accounting and finance.

• Lead finance strategy and operations, including financial planning, budgeting, and day-to-day financial operations.
• Manage and refine the financial model, ensuring accurate planning and forecasting, and oversee the end-to-end fundraising process.
• Collaborate with department heads to create, monitor, and manage budgets, and prepare and deliver financial reporting packages for board meetings.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including revenue management, bookkeeping software, and CRM
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
