About The Role
Join TSSD Services, Inc., a leading provider of professional and technical staffing solutions in the energy and utility sectors. As an Administrative Specialist, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to key leaders, assist with payroll and HR administration, support quality and compliance efforts, and contribute to operational and project support. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or operations support roles, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the CEO, HR Director, Operations Manager, and Payroll Administrator, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel.
- Assist the Payroll Administrator with timesheet collection, review, and entry, and help ensure accurate payroll processing, as well as support hiring activities and onboarding processes.
- Support the development, administration, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, and assist with internal and external audits.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Administrative Specialist plays a central role in supporting the daily operations of a small but expanding company. This position provides direct administrative support to the CEO, HR Director, Operations Manager, and Payroll Administrator, and ensures the smooth and efficient delivery of administrative, HR, QHSE, and operational processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting a wide range of activities in a dynamic, multi‑functional environment.
**QUELIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 3–5+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or operations support roles (experience in small‑business environments preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Highly detail-oriented and proactive.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with databases and digital recordkeeping systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting payroll or HR processes is an asset.
- Basic understanding of QHSE, quality management systems, or audit processes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and support multiple leaders across the organization.
