About The Role

Join BA Blacktop Ltd, a leading road construction company, as an Asphalt Laydown Technician. In this role, you will operate asphalt pavers, rollers, and other related equipment, assist in the proper placement and compaction of asphalt, inspect the paved surface for smoothness and adherence to project specifications, and follow safety protocols. You will work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget. The position offers a competitive pay range of $21.88-$45.51 per hour and is based in the Fraser Valley Area.

Operation of asphalt pavers, rollers, and other related equipment to ensure proper placement and compaction of asphalt.
Inspecting the paved surface for smoothness, levelness, and adherence to project specifications.
Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment while working collaboratively with other team members.

**Qualifications:**

Ideally experience in asphalt laydown or related field.
Proficiency in operating asphalt pavers, rollers, and other related equipment.
Understanding of asphalt materials and their properties.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
