Draftsman/Draftswoman H/F

Join our team as a Draftsman/Draftswoman for the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program. You will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and plans used in construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project specifications. You will collaborate with engineers and project managers, create drawings from scratch, and use CAD software to produce high-quality plans. A diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry, is required.

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and create drawings from scratch based on engineering inputs.
• Prepare technical drawings and plans used in construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and alignment with project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope, and use CAD software to produce high-quality plans.

Your skills

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry on large infrastructure projects
• 7 years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Strong ability to produce detailed technical drawings entirely from scratch
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills
• Rigor, ability to learn constantly
• Focused on resolving problems and providing recommendations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
