Equipment Engineer

Join our team as an Equipment Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in improving safety, reliability, and performance of our equipment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing equipment, producing and maintaining technical documentation, managing engineering projects, testing and optimizing designs, providing technical support, and coordinating procurement and supplier relationships. This position is based in Burscough, with the option for flexible remote work.

• Assist and eventually lead the creation, modification, and enhancement of equipment to improve safety, reliability, and performance.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and cost requirements are met.
• Conduct testing, analyse data, and implement design changes or recommendations to ensure equipment performs reliably in all operating conditions.

**Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required:**

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to internal and external stakeholders.
• Good MS office software skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Experience using a CMMS, ideally Point of Rental.
