About The Role

Join our National Remedial Major Projects Team as a Construction Manager. This full-time position offers flexibility in office location across Australia and regular project-based travel. You will provide specialized construction oversight, leadership, and technical support on key projects, ensuring alignment in safety, construction methodologies, quality, and execution excellence.

  • Provide leadership and direction to construction, project, and site teams across all states, driving operational consistency and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required technical and quality standards, reviewing methodologies and providing senior support for high-risk works.
  • Mentor and develop Construction Managers, Project Managers, and emerging leaders, driving a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety-first leadership.
  • **Key Responsibilities**
  • **National Leadership & Strategy**
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction, project, and site teams across all states.
  • Drive operational consistency, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee national performance metrics, cost control, risk management, and project governance.
  • Contribute to executive-level planning and growth strategies.
  • Project Delivery Oversight
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required technical and quality standards.
  • Review methodologies, staging, temporary works, and engineering solutions for complex projects.
  • Provide senior support for high-risk, high-value, or technically challenging works.
  • Lead national quality assurance, compliance, and operational governance.|

  • Mentor and develop Construction Managers, Project Managers, and emerging leaders.
  • Support national workforce planning, recruitment, and capability uplift.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety-first leadership.

**Client & Stakeholder Engagement**

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key national clients, engineers, and delivery partners.
  • Represent the business at senior stakeholder forums and industry engagements.
  • Ensure strong alignment with client expectations and contractual requirements.
  • **What We’re Looking For**
  • **Essential Requirements**
  • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within remedial, structural, civil, or complex refurbishment construction.
  • Strong technical understanding of remedial engineering, concrete repair, structural strengthening, façade upgrades, coatings, marine works, or industrial remediation.
  • Proven capability leading large, geographically dispersed construction teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts, claims, and project governance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel interstate regularly.

**Desirable Background**

  • Experience in brownfield or live operational environments.
  • Exposure to high‑risk works such as marine structures, bridges, façades, industrial facilities, and stadiums.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
