NUVIA UK - Civil Structural Engineer

Join NUVIA UK as a Civil Structural Engineer in a permanent hybrid position based in Birchwood Park, Warrington. You will be responsible for providing a design engineering service, producing discipline-specific design and engineering deliverables, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant technical/engineering discipline, previous experience in a highly regulated industry, and a good understanding of safety legislation.

• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Previous experience in the role of design in highly regulated industry,
• Demonstrable successfully delivering design solutions.
• Good understanding of safety legislation and statutory regulations.
• Proven track record within a project environment.
• Self-motivation with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Good commercial awareness.

**Desirable**

• Degree Qualified in a relevant technical/engineering discipline.
• Able and motivated to work towards, or already have, Incorporated and/or Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE.
• Experience in the nuclear industry.
• Management of design teams in the technical delivery of projects.
• Management of sub-contractors.
• A full UK driving licence
