Join NUVIA UK as a Senior Structural Engineer in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. This hybrid, permanent position involves hands-on analysis and design within the Civil & Structural department. Key responsibilities include preparing design documentation, developing designs to meet technical specifications, and contributing to design reviews. Candidates should have experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design, as well as a strong team player mentality. Nuclear experience and a full UK driving license are desirable.

• Preparation of design documentation throughout the design process, including supporting design calculations and technical specifications.
• Development of designs to satisfy technical specifications and contribution to design reviews.
• Preparation of risk assessments, technical files, and other technical documentation required by safety legislation and procedures.

**Essential**

• Knowledge of the fundamentals of structures and foundations using
• Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel.
• Design experience in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel.
• Knowledge and understanding of Structural steel connections and connection types.
• Demonstrable competence gained in a design delivery position
• Ability to work to tight deadlines,
• A strong team player.

**Desirable**

• Nuclear experience or experience from within a highly regulated industry,
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays overs occasionally
• Experience of supervision.

**Occupational Skills and Knowledge**

• A recognised Engineering Certificate such as HNC / HND / Degree
