Principal EC&I Engineer (Client Side)

Join NUVIA UK, a fast-growing company in the Technical Services & Consulting department. As a Principal EC&I Engineer, you will lead the design of electrical systems for projects in the FEED pipeline, produce and check engineering deliverables, and provide technical support for all aspects of CE&I engineering. This hybrid role is based in Birchwood Park, Warrington, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

• Lead and take responsibility for the delivery of the design aspects of the project, working with a small integrated design team.
• Contribute to the production of multi-discipline design documentation such as Project Requirement Documents, Basis of Design, Project Verification Plans.
• Interface with Integrated Design Team, facility team (including systems engineering), other project functions and work closely throughout project phases.

**Essential Experience:**

• Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery:
• Experience of delivering CE&I design packages - Translating user requirements and technical specification into fully engineered, safe and legal design solution.
• Experience of space management, panel layouts, cable routing, cable management and cable calculations.
• Have the ability to work as part of an Integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.
• Process Instrumentation Design.
• Electrical Power and Services Design at LV.
• Knowledge of CE&I Safety Systems
• Programmable Electronic Systems.
• Radiometric Instrumentation.
• Estimate & schedule production and progress reporting.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
• Minimum: ONC
• Preferred: Engineering degree (Beng/MEng)

**Desirable Experience:**

• Management of design delivery teams
• Machinery Safety and UKCA Marking.
