Schedule Engineer M/F

Join VINCI Construction Grands Projets USA, a leading global player in construction and concessions. As a Schedule Engineer, you will be instrumental in the planning and scheduling of the $2.9BN Red Line Extension project in Chicago. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules, collaborating with project stakeholders, monitoring progress, and conducting schedule impact analysis. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive wages and benefits.

• Développer et maintenir des plannings de construction détaillés pour les projets assignés, en intégrant toutes les phases, de la pré-construction à la clôture du projet.
• Collaborer avec les chefs de projet, les ingénieurs, les entrepreneurs et d'autres parties prenantes pour recueillir les exigences et les contraintes du projet.
• Analyser les plans, les spécifications et les dessins du projet pour créer des plannings précis avec l'apport des parties prenantes.

• **Qualifications and Skills:**
• *Required:*

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years heavy construction scheduling experience

*Preferred:*

• Major in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Ability to summarize and consolidate information effectively both written and verbally.
• Confident setting meeting agendas and leading a meeting or call.
• Comfortable with programs like Word, Excel, other Microsoft Office Suite programs and information management systems such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, ACC, or E-Builder.
• Organized and able to manage and store documents effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interface and effectively communicate with others.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Proven skill and ability to identify and mitigate scheduling issues for simple and complex construction projects.
• Proficient with the generation and maintenance of cost and resource loaded schedules.
• Ability to self-prioritize and self-start projects and task work.
• Ability to effectively multi-task similar activities in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

*Salary Range:*

• $115,000.00 to $125,000.00

**Work Environment:**

• Required to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders.
• Involves a dynamic and challenging work environment.
• Office-based role with regular visits to active construction sites.
• Exposure to noise, weather, and typical construction conditions.
• Fast-paced environment that may require long hours.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and reflective vests when on-site

**Physical Demands:**

• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Walking and standing while in-office or on-site
• Occasional climbing on and off equipment and bending
