Senior Project Engineer - Remedial

About The Role
Join our Remedial team in Newcastle as a Senior Project Engineer. In this role, you will lead engineering functions on complex remedial projects, oversee project planning and delivery, manage engineering documentation and compliance, and provide technical support. You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in civil or remedial engineering, a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Experience delivering remedial projects within Australia is preferred.
- Lead engineering functions across multiple remedial projects in NSW, overseeing project planning, cost control, programming, procurement, and delivery.
- Manage engineering documentation, quality systems, and environmental and safety compliance, ensuring project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams, providing technical support and innovative problem-solving across diverse brownfield environments.
- You will lead engineering functions on challenging projects that contribute to critical infrastructure upgrades and remediation works across Newcastle and surrounding regions.

- **What We’re Looking For**
- **Essential Requirements**
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil or remedial engineering
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Strong capability in estimating, project management, and project administration
- Demonstrated experience managing complex structural remedial projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders
- **Preferred Background**
- Experience delivering remedial projects within Australia
- Exposure to marine, mining, and civil structures repair and maintenance environments
- Previous involvement in concrete remediation, structural repairs, protective coatings, or other specialist remedial works
- Based in Newcastle and is happy to travel when required across greater NSW
