About The Role

Join our NSW Remedial team as a Site Engineer in Newcastle. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on site exposure, technical problem-solving, and office-based project support. Experience in remedial construction is preferred.

  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery of remedial construction projects across a wide range of sectors, including cost estimating and project methodologies.
  • Managing project administration, including documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements, while conducting regular site inspections.
  • Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

**Key Responsibilities**

In this role, you will play a central part in delivering complex remedial solutions across NSW by

  • Supporting the end‑to‑end delivery of remedial construction projects across a wide range of sectors
  • Assisting with cost estimating, tender submissions, and the development of project methodologies
  • Managing project administration, including documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Conducting regular site inspections and supporting high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance
  • Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Contributing to detailed planning, programming, material tracking, and site coordination activities
  • Providing technical input to problem‑solving on site, including constructability reviews and remediation strategies
  • Helping maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through professionalism and reliable delivery

**What We’re Looking For**
**Essential Requirements**
We’re looking for an engineer who brings a combination of technical knowledge, initiative, and on‑site leadership. You will have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar discipline)
  • Capability in estimating, cost tracking, documentation control, and general project administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with excellent organisational ability
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and solve problems in the field
  • The ability to work safely and confidently in brownfield, industrial, and operational environments

Preferred Experience

  • While not essential, experience in remedial construction will make you stand out.
