Superintendent F/H

Join VINCI Construction Grands Projets Canada, a leading global construction company. As a Superintendent, you will oversee all construction activities on the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment project, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop schedules, address issues, and maintain accurate records. A degree in civil engineering or construction management and 10-15 years of experience as a Superintendent are preferred.

• Superviser les équipes de sous-traitance et assurer la conformité aux plans de projet.
• Gérer et coordonner toutes les activités de construction sur le projet, en veillant au respect des plans, des spécifications et des réglementations applicables.
• Maintenir des dossiers précis des activités de construction, y compris les rapports quotidiens, les mises à jour de progression et toute modification.
• A degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred
• A proven track record of at least 10-15 years as a Superintendent, preferably on Ontario Power Generation sites
• Experience with earthworks, and utility relocation
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, codes, and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse workforce
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, stakeholders, and subcontractors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address construction challenges and provide practical solutions
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment
• Proficient in using construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications
