Senior Quantum Software Engineer (Quantum Software Stack)

Join PASQAL, a leading company in the Neutral Atom Quantum Computing space, as a Senior Quantum Software Engineer. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain PASQAL's ecosystem of quantum solver libraries, bridging research and production engineering. You will improve the performance, reliability, and maintainability of production codebases, transfer research ideas into production-grade code, and contribute to the development and productization strategy of the quantum software stack. • Développer, optimiser et maintenir l'écosystème des bibliothèques de solveurs quantiques de PASQAL, y compris les algorithmes classiques et quantiques pour l'apprentissage automatique et l'optimisation.
• Transformer les idées algorithmiques en logiciels robustes, maintenables et bien testés, tout en garantissant l'interopérabilité à travers la pile logicielle.
• Contribuer activement à la stratégie de développement et de productisation de la pile logicielle quantique, en conduisant une expérience utilisateur API solide.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience in industry/research/open-source projects
• Strong experience with software best practices in collaborative environments (code review, CI/CD, testing)
• Education & experience
• Excellent writing of production-level Python
• Software engineering excellence
• Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Quantum computing knowledge
• Open-source contributions
• Backend/platform experience (API design, services, reliability/observability)
• Packaging & release engineering (wheels, manylinux, dependency constraints, deprecations)
• Familiarity with optimization (MILP/MIQP, constraint programming, metaheuristics) and/or OR frameworks
• Security & software supply-chain practices
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX)
